Creativity Lab is an emerging QT/BIPOC-centered arts incubator based out of Paper City Studios in Holyoke. We actively explore the role that creativity plays in shifting narratives, giving our local communities the ability to write our own stories, make meaning and create change locally.
Summer 2021 we are hoping to launch an artist residency program for creatives in the neighboring Holyoke communities who are directly impacted by systems of oppression through one or more marginalized identities. This QT/BIPOC-centered program is for creatives who have not had access to physical space to effectively explore their creative projects. The program is also designed to provide mentorship opportunities for residents, as well as both financial and material resources to experiment and explore creatively. Stay tuned and get in touch if you are interested!
